Trumpeter is a Chinese international company just of the north of Macau. They have had some negative reviews about armor models being not strong enough and that the detail of the models was not of high accuracy. In the last years Trumpeter have worked out there troubles and are now making models of a higher quality. They can not compete with Tamiya on detail so they gain customer satisfaction on other fronts. Trumpeter kits contain a lot of small parts, this is appreciated by many model builders. Their model kits are produced in the following scales: 1:200, 1:350 1:500 and 1:700, however the scale 1:144 is common outside China.
